Arewa Students Honor Borno OC Crack

The Commander of the Borno Police Command Special anti-robbery Crack Squad, Mohammed Ibrahim, has again added yet another feather of honor to his cap.

The gallant super cop was this week presented a plaque of honour in recognition of his “immense contribution towards youths and social development by members of the National Association of Arewa Arewa students.

Officials of the northern student association who stormed his office on Monday January 17, 2022, said posterity will not judge them right if they don’t identify with unprecedented sacrifices that the Mr Ibrahim, a Chief Superintendent of Police has been doing in the area of combatting crimes and related crikinalities in virtually all the nooks and crannies of Borno state.

The students thanked CSP Ibrahim for his courage and sacrifice towards maintaining peace in Borno state, even as they pleaded with him not to allow the flying flag of the crack squad drop.

Reeacting to the unexpected award, the gentleman officer thanked the students for identifying with him and his gallant team of personnel.

“I feel delighted and honored by the National Association of Arewa Students who honored me with an award for recognition.

“I as assure you that this will not only boost our morale but also stimulate more commitment and the desired service to the good people of Borno state.

“I want to say that onbehalf of the combatant squad and my family, we are grateful”.

CSP Ibrahim has received several awards and recognition on behalf of himself and his team at the Crack Squad.

OC Crack made history in 2021 to be the first man to be honoured for courage and gallantry during plenary at the Borno state House of Assembly.
