
ISWAP attack Borno’s Sabongari village, Kill 7 persons
– 8 others were beheaded in Mandaragirau village
Reports reaching The Humanitarian Times indicates that ISWAP had on Sunday attacked Sabongari village of Damboa local government area killing at least seven persons.
The source, a top police officer, said the attackers had earlier killed eight persons in the neighbouring Mandaragirau village.
According to the source, a woman was among the dead casualties.
These wave of attacks came weeks after the Maiduguri-Biu highway was reponed by the Borno state government, following an intense military clearance operation tagged Operation Sahel Sanity.
