NDLEA Arrest Kuje Prison Break Escapee Terrorists

The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested one of the 64 terror suspects that escaped after last week’s prison break in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

Last Tuesday the entire nation and the world at large was left choked and gasping for air when a medium security prison that houses major criminal suspects was attacked by a gang of gunmen believed to be ISWAP terrorists.

The Nigerian government had confirmed that a total of 64 terrorists who were awaiting trial were helped to escape after about two hours of shooting and burning of facility at the penitentiary.

The president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari said he was disappointed at the shabby intelligence networks and security around the prison.

The Nigerian senate president, Ahmed Lawan, suspected that the attack couldn’t have happened without an insider conspiracy.

However, one of the escaped terror suspects, Suleiman Sidi, was today nabbed at Area 1 commercial auto park, Abuja, by the NDLEA as he was abode a vehicle heading for northeast Nigerian City of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.

The intelligent NDLEA officials had upon searching him discoverer wraps of cannabis sativa in his body and he later confessed to be one of the escaped terrorists that fled the prison last week.

The Head of the NDLEA, Brigadier General Buba Marwa had directed the immediate return of the fleeing terror suspect to the Kuje prison.
