Enter ‘THE LETTER MAN’: Book On President Obasanjo And His Many Written Letters Set For Public Presentation

A beautifully written book on former President Obasanjo’a many letters, authored by Musikilu Mojeed, the Editor-in-Chief/COO of Premium Times is set for public presentation tomorow, Dec. 1.

“In the course of his life, former President Obasanjo wrote many interesting letters to leaders within and outside Nigeria on subjects of national, continental and global importance,” said Fredrick Adetiba an associate of Mr Musikilu.

Though writing letters to leaders has been the signature of the former president’s public life, it is said that only some of the letters were made public, as quite a number were not seen or heard  

The book, which is titled: the letter man: inside the secret letters of former nigerian president, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO is considered “a masterpiece.”

“A number of these letters 6were written at various defining moments in our history.

The author, and multiple awards winning investigative journalist, is said to have done an incredible job in analyzing and contextualizing these letters. 

“I was privileged to be one of first few people to go though initial drafts of the book. I will tell you that it was indeed beautifully written. You will enjoy reading it as much as you would appreciate its historical significance,” said Mr Adetiba, who is also an author.

The book will be presented today by 10am at Bolton White Hotel, 31 Kigoma Street, opposite, Education Resource Centre, Zone 7 Wuse Abuja.

Chairman, Governing Council, Osun State University.

Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is the Special Guest of Honour, Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah
The Archbishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto will be the Book Reviewer.
