NSF: Borno wins bronze in cycling, kickboxing

The Borno state team at the National Sports Festival (NSF) Benin, Edo state have won two bronze medals in kickboxing and cycling.
The state came third in the 1000 meters (1km) cycling race on Tuesday.
The contingent also celebrated the winning of another bronze medal when the state kickboxer came third in the all-four fight.
The women category of the kickboxing bout is yet to be decided.
Officials however worry about their prospect in karate which the contingent agrees they lack the skill to come out victorious.
The contingent is expected to participate in 14 different tournaments during the two weeks long event.
About 8000 athletes converged in the historic city of Benin for the national sporting events.
