NSF: Team Borno suffers knock out in tennis

The Borno state tennis contingent has on Sunday suffered an early knock out in the capable hands of Team Cross River during the first round of the game.

thT-Sports learnt that Team Borno table tennis players have turned spectators in the two weeks long event.

Idris Musa Mohammed a major player in team Borno expresses the disappointment of his performance in the match after losing against his opponent who was considered to be a highly experienced tennis player.

Borno state chairman of sports writers association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ibrahim Tukur, confirmed to thT-Sports that “Team Borno Tennis are now out of the Edo 2020 National sports festival without any medal.
